The estimate of regional water consumption was prepared by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) for the Richmond River - Unregulated Surface Water Management Area
Estimated water consumption is 38,583 ML
Agriculture comprises approximately 48% of total water consumption; Household comprises approximately 27% of total water consumption; Other comprises approximately 22% of total water consumption; Mining and Manufacturing comprise the remainder.
