Outcomes from water balances

The four main criteria for the comparison are:

  • Spatial location (e.g. comparing results for northern Australia to southeast Australia and Western Australia)
  • Level of development (including level of allocations, irrigation) of the water management area
  • State and territory comparisons
  • Urban verses rural context
